During the second day of the Electronics & Applications fair, ACTRONICS won the award as Best Solderer of the Benelux. The competition was one of the headlines of the Electronics & Applications fair organized at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht.

Tough assignment

ACTRONICS was at the start with two candidates for the title. A tough job awaited the contestants. Within a very short time frame of only three quarters of an hour, a circuit board and its components had to be soldered. All this under the watchful eye of a constant stream of visitors and jury member Stefan Walls.

On the move

After just a few minutes of soldering, it became clear to many of the solderers that the three quarters of an hour set aside for the task was actually necessary. For several participants this time frame proved too short, but the ACTRONICS participants seemed to be on schedule halfway through. There was no question of stalling. Besides a good time, the quality of the soldering was also an important criterion to compete for the title. ESD-safe working was also central to this.

ACTRONICS participants finished within time after soldering for about 40 minutes. With a time of 42:36, ACTRONICS finished well on time. Now there was only one thing left to do: wait for the jury report.

ACTRONICS takes the title

After the judging of the boards, it was finally time for the results. ACTRONICS was the lucky winner of the competition. With this we give a super nice business card!
